Wander the markets of stallholders, look for leather goods and hand-made artworks and explore the rich ancient past of the city. See the marketplace where merchants traded in Greek and Roman times and wanderers passed by the houses of the 17th and 18th century in the area of Thission.


Meet your local guide in Kotzia square and then head to the neoclassical building of the Town Hall of Athens on Athinas Street, one of the busiest streets in Athens. Starting early, with shops and markets of the city filled with Athenians, you will experience the spirit of Greek life in the same trade in foodstuffs and goods that existed thousands of years ago.
